We currently manufacture over 250 different products for our satisfied clients. Mutual cooperation is very flexible. You can leave the whole process to us and just tell us at which address we will assemble the final products, or you can choose just one small process from the whole range and complete the rest yourself.
First step: consultation and assessment of the recipe
Every successful project starts with a meeting. Ideally at Biomin, where we can show you what we can deliver. Our pharmacist will assess your idea, check the choice of active ingredients and verify their legal authorisation in the EU. Depending on the form of the individual substances, he will estimate the content per capsule or tablet. In addition , we will show you the available packaging forms – tablets, capsules, powders in sachets or doses. We will also go through the packaging and materials that are most suitable for your product.
Delivery of raw materials – flexible options
Once the recipe has been agreed, it is the turn of the delivery of the raw materials. The client can supply the raw materials himself or rely on our supply chain and advantageous bulk prices.
Test production: Quality verification from 300 pieces
Before mass production, we carry out test production on a sample of 300 capsules. This phase verifies whether the theoretical recipe works in practice. The test also serves as a basis for laboratory determination in accordance with legal requirements and for obtaining the complete documents required for registration with the Office of Public Health.
Graphic design and labels: strict standards and creative solutions
In the meantime, we work with the client on the graphic design of the packaging and label. Many people have no idea how many strict standards the label itself has to meet – from the composition to the mandatory information. We can fully assist you in this process and ensure that your product meets all legislative requirements.
Production: Precision and high capacity
When all the raw materials and packaging are ready, production begins:
- Homogenization of ingredients – all ingredients are precisely weighed and mixed so that each capsule or tablet contains the same amount of active ingredients.
- Capsule filling – the powder is fed by vacuum into the filling line where the capsules are filled at a rate of 100,000 capsules per hour.
- Automatic weight control – each capsule is checked with a maximum deviation of ±5%.
- Packaging and capping – the capsules are dusted off and moved to a packaging line where an extremely precise camera counts them and places them in the bottle. The machine closes it with a cap, which then goes on to weld a protective seal.
- Labelling and marking – the machine applies the labels, prints the expiry date and prepares the product for finishing.
- Boxing – if the client wishes, the product is put into a box and ready for dispatch. Each box has its exact name and batch so that they cannot be mixed up in the warehouse.
Laboratory control: Every detail under scrutiny
Our laboratory performs complete quality control. We take samples and analyze during packaging:
- microbiological purity,
- the correct number of capsules,
- the quality of the labels and the expiry date.
Two samples are kept as counter samples for future analyses.
Shipping: your order on its way to you
After a successful inspection , we load the goods into the refrigerated van and inform the client that their product is on its way. The production process ends with us, but a new stage begins for you – the product launch.
