Privacy Policy

We take a responsible approach to the protection of your personal data and fully guarantee your right to information. When processing personal data, we are governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Act 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on amending and supplementing certain regulations. When processing personal data, we are guided by the principles of lawfulness and transparency, limitation of the purpose of processing , minimization of scope and storage. We apply the principles of information security management aimed at ensuring the confidentiality, availability and integrity of personal data.

We only process the personal data of users that the users themselves provide and only for the purpose for which it was provided. Personal data will only be processed for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing, which is determined by the question or problem with which the user contacts our organisation. The provision of personal data is voluntary.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data of data subjects

Your personal data may be processed solely on the basis of one of the following legal bases:

  • if you have consented to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes,
  • the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or for the performance of a pre-contractual measure at your request,
  • the processing is necessary pursuant to a special regulation or an international treaty to which the Slovak Republic is bound,
  • the processing is necessary to protect the life, health or property of you or another natural person,
  • the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, or
  • the processing of personal data is necessary for the purpose of the legitimate interests of the organisation or a third party, except where excluded by law.

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, you have the following rights in accordance with the relevant provisions of Act No.18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts, as well as Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC:

  1. the right to withdraw consent at any time,
  2. the right of access to their personal data,
  3. the right to have them corrected,
  4. the right to object to processing,
  5. the right to have your personal data erased (“right to be forgotten”),
  6. the right to the portability of your personal data,
  7. the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data,
  8. the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, which in Slovakia is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, Slovak Republic
  9. at the same time, if you are in doubt whether your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable law or if the personal data processed is inaccurate, you may request an explanation or rectification of the situation, in particular the blocking, correction, completion or destruction of your personal data.

Recipients defined by applicable Slovak and EU legislation – health insurance companies, Social Insurance Institution, Financial Administration, state and municipal authorities, control bodies, law enforcement authorities

  • who perform support services for our organization in the areas of payroll and accounting, security and asset protection, and web hosting services,
  • we declare on our honour that when selecting individual processors, we have paid attention to their professional, technical, organisational and personal competence and their ability to guarantee the security of the personal data processed by the security measures taken in accordance with the applicable legislative requirements,
  • the respective processors are, in accordance with Section 34 of the Personal Data Protection Act, authorised in writing to process the personal data of the data subjects to the extent, under the conditions and for the purpose agreed contractually and in the manner provided for in the Personal Data Protection Act.

Retention period of personal data of data subjects

The retention period of personal data is determined according to the purpose of processing personal data and according to the requirements of specific regulations. Personal data whose processing purpose and retention period have expired will be irretrievably destroyed.

Transfer of personal data to third countries

Personal data is not transferred to third countries.
