Encapsulation
We offer our clients the service of packing active ingredients into capsules. Thanks to our high-performance encapsulation, we are able to produce 2.5 to 3 million capsules per day at Biomin without additives, artificial colours and preservatives. Capsules that are also suitable for patients with increased health risks, allergy sufferers, celiacs or phenylketonurics.

Exact dosage of active ingredients
There are three capsule sizes (00, 0, 1) with precisely defined volumes ranging from 288 mg to 1080 mg.
At Biomin we can package 3 capsule sizes – 00, 0 , 1. All three types are available in three forms – acid resistant, cellulose and gelatin.
The Type 00 capsule is 23.4 mm/0.92 inches in length and may contain 540 mg to 1080 mg of compounds.
The Type 0 capsule is 21.6 mm/0.85 inches in length and may contain 408 mg to 816 mg of compounds.
The Type 1 capsule is 19.4 mm/0.76 inches in length and may contain 288 mg to 576 mg of compounds.
The acid-resistant capsule is designed for substances that need to be dissolved up in the intestine and protected from stomach acid. The cellulose capsule contains the least amount of allergens and is also suitable for vegans. The gelatine capsule is the standard today. We offer the capsules in a full coloured range.
